Salt trout...

On the territory of central Russia, you can mainly find red fish on sale both salted and frozen. In addition, the so-called chilled, that is, defrosted on ice crumbs, is also sold. Most often it is either salmon or trout. It is worth noting that both of these inhabitants of water bodies have excellent taste along with a lot of useful properties for human health.

However, the difference in cost between raw and salty fish is sometimes very large, while the process of salting fish is quite simple and does not require any time or material costs. This is probably why many culinary experts cook salted trout at home.

So, if you prefer salted trout of your own preparation, then it is no secret to you that it is customary to salt this fish in two ways: dry or wet. By the way, there is another variant of salting - wet-salted, but it is used mainly in the industrial production of salt trout.

To enjoy the taste and tenderness of this excellent fish, a simple mixture of table salt and granulated sugar is prepared in certain proportions (usually 2 to
1), which the trout is thoroughly poured over and left for a while. Literally a day later, the fish is ready to eat. The calorie content of salt trout is about 198 kcal per hundred grams of fish meat.

Nevertheless, for adherents of finished products who do not have a supply of precious time, there is always salt trout in vacuum packages on sale. This is not to say that the quality of such a product is somehow worse than personally cooked fish - in a hermetically sealed package, the shelf life of salted trout is much longer, and for sure the raw materials used by conscientious producers are distinguished by increased freshness.

By the way, the packaged salt trout surprisingly retains all its advantages: the aroma is still as fragrant and rich, and the taste is invariably tender with a divine aftertaste. And, of course, the useful substances necessary for a person almost completely remain in their original form, enriching the body and charging with energy.

In addition, in view of the low calorie content of salt trout, you can indulge yourself in all kinds of exquisite delicacies based on it quite often. This is not only a simple but very appetising fish cut in bright orange, but also a variety of miniature canapés, hearty sandwiches, gorgeous salads and other delicious and healthy snacks.
