All countless varieties of gobies are divided into two large groups - brackish aquatic and marine fish. As a rule, canned gobies in tomato sauce are used in cooking, as well as cured and salted fish. Fresh gobies are quite rare to cook, as the small-sized fish contains many bones. But jerks and gobies in tomato sauce are in stable demand and popularity.
