Red tladiant cucumber...

The red cucumber of tladiant can be classified as a unique food. And this is due not only to the original appearance or location of the plant. The red cucumber tladiant is considered a common vegetable for residents of Southeast Asia, but most of the inhabitants of our latitudes only a few decades ago discovered a new type of vegetable. Currently, tladiant red cucumber is successfully cultivated in Europe, Asia, as well as in the Americas.

In the scientific literature, it is customary to call the red cucumber nothing more than dubious tladianta or Thladiantha dubia. This plant belongs to the Pumpkin family. In the wild, red tladiant cucumber grows in the Far East of the Russian Federation, in some European states, in Southeast Asia, as well as in China, Canada and the United States. In its appearance, the red tladiant cucumber plant is a liana that is often cultivated for ornamental purposes.

Nowadays, even on the personal plots of domestic gardeners-gardeners, you can find an exotic Asian vegetable, red tladiant cucumber. However, this certainly tasty and healthy vegetable does not yet enjoy a wide demand among the inhabitants of our latitudes. However, in Europe, Tladiant also did not immediately take a worthy place. The red tladiant cucumber received its original name only due to the distinctive appearance of the plant.

A species of evergreen creeper from the Pumpkin family, as well as large yellow inflorescences, which eventually give fruits similar to cucumbers, but differing from the famous vegetable in bright red, are used not only for decorative purposes by gardening and park artists. Tladiant red cucumber has been eaten for several millennia by indigenous people of Southeast Asia. The fruits of tladiant red cucumber are similar in appearance as two drops of water to young cucumbers.

Moreover, the ripened fruit of red tladiant cucumbers is distinguished by its soft consistency. It is also worth noting that modern breeders tirelessly continue to bring out all new hybrids of red tladiant cucumbers. Usually, red cucumbers are crossed with pumpkin, melon or ordinary green cucumbers.

As a result of such experiments, a sufficient number of various species, subspecies and hybrids of red tladiant cucumber were born. The main difference between red tladiant cucumber can be considered a large amount of sugar, which is contained in the chemical composition of the vegetable. Not ripened fruits of red cucumber are eaten fresh.

In addition, green fruits of red cucumber are used as a side dish, snack or salad ingredient. Tladiants make jams, jam or povidlo from fully ripe fruits.
