The peel prepared in this way is boiled several times in saturated sugar syrup, while each time you need to let it brew after cooking. Ready-made orange candied fruits are thoroughly dried and stored in sealed glass containers.

Aromatic sugar syrup, which is obtained when making orange candied fruit, is often used as an excellent additive in tea or compotes. Such syrup is often impregnated with cake biscuit cakes before applying pastry cream. By the way, if you use not only water for boiling syrup, but partially replace it with orange juice, the result will be an unusually aromatic and tasty product.

By the way, orange candied fruits can be made quite different - completely wet, floating in syrup or completely dried. The former must be stored in a refrigerator or freezer, while dry orange candied fruit requires room temperature. Before drinking, dry orange candied fruits are recommended to be soaked in water or alcohol - for example, in cognac. In addition, dry orange candied fruits can be ground in a grinder to a powdery state.

For culinary purposes, orange candied fruits are also used in a variety of ways: they can be eaten as a sweet treat or added to confectionery, desserts and homemade pastries. In addition, orange candied fruit is an excellent decoration of ready-made sweet dishes.
