Schnitzel chicken

Schnitzel chicken...

Basically, the traditional dish of Vienna cuisine is usually made from young beef, that is, veal. However, many culinary people like not only this type of meat, but also others - in particular, schnitzel from pork, beef, as well as based on turkey or chicken meat. By the way, chicken schnitzel deserves special attention.

The fact is that among many consumers and lovers of meat products, there is an opinion that chicken white meat is not very tasty, dry and generally not suitable for anything. It is clear that most prefer dark chicken meat with hips and shins, but chicken schnitzel is able to completely overcome the prevailing stereotypes.

Chicken schnitzel is usually made from chicken breast, the dimensions of which are great for this dish. It is worth saying that in general schnitzel is usually called a wide piece of meat, which is beaten into a thin sheet, and then, having collapsed in breaded, fried on both sides in hot oil. Regarding chicken schnitzel - for these purposes, the chicken breast is cut into rather large flat pieces, after which it is beaten off using a kitchen hammer for softness.

For breading chicken schnitzel, wheat flour, chicken eggs and breadcrumbs are used. By the way, when preparing chicken schnitzel, there are two options for how best to plan the meat so that it turns out to be fragrant and tender. First of all, you can first marinate the breast in aromatic spices, and then dip the meat with a napkin, plan and fry it. In addition, many people like to add spices directly to the breading, but this tastes good.

When cooked correctly, schnitzel chicken is really very juicy, with the most important thing being that you need to stop in time. So, even a couple of extra minutes of cooking is quite enough for the chicken schnitzel to dry out and the most tender meat to irrevocably deteriorate.

As you know, chicken breast does not contain coarse muscle fibers, cartilage and veins, so chicken schnitzel must be cooked very quickly. Just a few minutes on each side and you get a delicate chicken schnitzel with a crisp crust and juicy meat.

By the way, the calorie content of chicken schnitzel is much lower than the nutritional value of such a dish based on other widows of meat - pork in particular. That is why you can eat chicken schnitzel quite often, without fear of consequences for the figure and health in general.
