Have you ever heard of a dish like the Rocky Mountain Oysters? Surely not. So, under such an interesting name it is not a marine product at all, but, do not be surprised. . . fried bull eggs. Although often not only bovine, but also pork or bison testes are used to prepare this unusual dish.

Cattle eggs have long been known around the world as a savoury delicacy, which differs in a rather peculiar, but no less attractive taste from it. However, not many people know how to cook bull eggs. As a rule, the technology provides for preliminary cleaning of the testes from the film, boiling, breading in flour and subsequent frying. Moreover, if the guests do not know what this product is, they are unlikely to be able to guess what the dish is made of.

Bull eggs are rightly considered a delicacy that has an amazing taste. For example, fried bull and lamb eggs in Arab countries are a decoration of kus-kus or pilaf - they are placed on the very top of the dish and are offered only to honorary guests. In Azerbaijan, bull eggs make an unusually tasty kebab, while Indonesian men simply adore the sate made with the product.

When choosing chilled bull eggs, see that they differ in pinkish color with bluish veins. By the way, high-quality fresh bull eggs are completely odorless, which cannot be said, for example, about kidneys. By the way, which is important: in raw form, they occupy a much larger volume than after heat treatment, that is, after boiling or frying, they are catastrophically reduced in size, so it is advisable to buy at least five to six pieces.

To prepare bull eggs, first of all, you need to release them from the strong shell with a sharp knife. Having made an incision a third of a centimeter deep, manually turn them inside out, carefully separating the central core from the skin. After removing the shell, the kernels of bull eggs are usually cut into several fractions, washed and used at the discretion of the cook - boiled, stewed or immediately fried.

The benefits of bull eggs

It is noteworthy that many are sure that the benefit of bull eggs for humans (in particular, for men) lies in the content of excessive amounts of hormones responsible for potency. But this is not entirely true: in order to get these hormones, you need to eat bull eggs raw, since during heat treatment they are completely destroyed.

However, the benefit of bovine eggs as a source of easily recyclable animal protein cannot be denied. That is, in other words, it is both a nutritious and healthy product. In addition, without a rigid shell, tender bovine egg meat is relatively harmless to the figure. By the way, the calorie content of bull eggs is about 230 kcal per 100 grams of meat.
