In fact, by the name of befstrogans, it is customary to mean thin long slices of meat, which are pre-fried in vegetable oil, and then poured with sour cream sauce and stewed until completely cooked. By the way, despite the fact that the original beef strogans were prepared exclusively from beef, today culinary experts use almost any type of meat to prepare this dish. And even more: befstrogans from fish, squid and even mushrooms are popular.

One of the most common cooking options for this dish is chicken beef strogan. For this, fillet is considered the most suitable part of the bird carcass, as well as chicken breast, which is the most valuable in many respects. By the way, the composition of chicken fillet is simply replete with animal proteins, the bulk of which account for amino acids. And as you know, without them, the human body will hardly be able to function normally.

In addition to easily digestible protein, chicken fillet contains a considerable amount of phosphorus and other useful substances: vitamins, magnesium, sulfur, chromium, zinc, cobalt. The calorie content of befstroganov from chicken, namely chicken fillet per 100 grams, is approximately 163 kcal.

Chicken beef strogans are always soft, juicy and tender. By the way, some culinary experts prefer to cook it with the addition of garlic, the presence of which in the composition of the dish is often frightening. However, this additive does not interrupt the taste of the sauce at all, but only introduces its savoury taste shades.

The recipe for making befstroganov from chicken provides for the preliminary preparation of meat, which must be washed and dried, and then cut the fillet into longitudinal pieces, no more than one centimeter thick. The onions are peeled and cut into half rings, laid out in a pan with hot oil and fried a little. Chicken fillet is placed in strips on a kind of onion pillow and everything is fried for several minutes.

In the next stage of making befstroganov from chicken, a sauce is introduced into the dish, which is traditionally made from a mixture of sour cream, wheat flour and tomato paste. These products are thoroughly mixed until homogeneous and only then carefully added to the meat with onions. The dish languishes under the lid for about ten minutes and is then served hot to the table.

Ready-made chicken beef strogans work perfectly with potatoes, which can be made with any recipe you know. In addition, buckwheat or rice porridge is also a good side dish, however, it should be crumbly. And as an accompaniment to befstroganov from chicken, a variety of vegetables are often used both cooked and fresh.
