Snack tubes

Snack tubes...

The modern food industry every year never ceases to amaze the consumer with the appearance of more and more new food products, trying to make life much easier for ordinary housewives. And in fact, what kind of semi-finished products are not found in grocery stores today - frozen pizza, dumplings, dumplings, waffle horns and cups, as well as much, much more.

Among this variety, another product stands out - snack tubes, which are familiar to many culinary workers. Snack bars can be safely called a universal product that is in constant demand and popular among lovers to cook something quickly, original, simple and tasty. And it is unlikely that anyone will refuse to just steal such a pipe. By the way, snack bars are considered a type of waffle tubes, which in turn have their own culinary history.

So, the word waffle comes from wafel (Middle German language) and means a kind of dry cookie, quite thin and on the surface of which there are prints. The Danes changed the name somewhat, transforming it into a waffle - this is how the Russians recognized it. It is customary to bake this confectionery in special forms, using a sufficiently beaten batter based on wheat flour, eggs, sugar and confectionery fat (either butter or margarine). In addition, cream or any vegetable oil can be used.

Snack tubes consist mainly of the same set of products, however, they contain minimal sugar, due to which finished products are quite fresh. However, this also has its advantages: in particular, this composition of snack bar makes them universal in use. In other words, both sweet and unsweetened products can be used as the filling for this semi-finished product.

So, you can fill snack tubes with ice cream, cottage cheese, whipped cream, and then decorate them with fresh berries or pieces of fruit. In addition, cooked condensed milk is often used as a tasty and satisfying filler. In general, the choice of filling directly depends on the preferences of the sweet tooth.

Meanwhile, fresh pastry snack bars are also great for making numerous meat dishes. For example, filling them with minced meat, and then fried in a breaded pan, you can significantly diversify not only the daily, but even the festive menu. Thus, there are practically no boundaries for using snack bars, but only depends on the skill and imagination of the cook.
