Burger buns

Burger buns...

Among the wide variety of numerous wheat flour confectionery products, burger buns occupy a special place. These little crumpets delight us with their delicate taste and subtle aroma. But before understanding this flour product in detail, it is worth paying some attention to the direct culprit of its appearance.

So, a hamburger is a type of sandwich (in our opinion, a sandwich), which consists of a cut bun with chopped fried cutlets inside. In addition, the integral components of the classic hamburger are a variety of seasonings, for example, mayonnaise, ketchup, fresh salad leaves, pickled cucumber, tomato, courgette wedges, as well as onions both raw and fried.

Initially, the name of this sandwich comes from Hamburg - the name of the second largest city in Germany. It was from there that many emigrated to the American continent. In German, the word hamburger means either someone who came from Hamburg or something from the same city.

To date, in order to please a friendly consumer, manufacturers have significantly expanded a number of fast food products. Thus, they gave life to other varieties of this traditional sandwich with a meat patty and a burger bun.

In particular, numerous fast food chains offer a wide range of all kinds of cheeseburgers (the same burger, only necessarily with cheese), fishburgers (instead of chopped cutlets - a piece of fried fish) and chicken burgers (with chicken meat).

In addition, for adherents of plant-based products, there are alternative options in the form of wedgeburgers or garden burgers, to which, although there are integral burgers buns, the filling does not contain meat. The same applies to tofuburgers, by the name of which it is easy to guess that instead of a cutlet, there is tofu cheese inside.

However, whatever kind of sandwich you choose, the burger buns are still a constant component. The classic version of this dough is a small flour product, which is prepared from yeast dough by pre-disassembly and subsequent baking in the oven.

Ready-made burger buns are always available in the bakery department of modern stores. In addition to boxed goods, manufacturers produce rolls for burgers of 2-6 pieces in vacuum packaging, thereby significantly increasing the shelf life of products.

In addition to the classic burger buns, which are distinguished by the presence of sesame seeds on the top of the die, there are simpler, so to speak, ordinary buns that practically do not differ in taste and structure.
