Bagels (drying)

Bagels (drying)...

Bagels, dryers, bagels. . . These names are familiar to each of us from a distant childhood. And although these roundabouts are not the same, for more than one hundred years they have been a product that has won the love and recognition of not only kids, but also people of the older generation. Well, how can you deny yourself a cup of hot tea with a fragrant still warm bagel? Or with juice, milk or cocoa? Yes, in fact, with anything!

Meanwhile, bagels are known as confectionery, which is a ring-shaped wheat dough that is pre-brewed in water or treated with hot steam and then baked. The calorie content of bagels (dryers), like any other flour product, is quite high and amounts to about 275 kcal per hundred grams.

Depending on the softness, humidity and size of the finished product, bagels can be called in different ways: barns, dryers, pretzels. Interestingly, in addition to a culinary product, other inedible objects of a similar shape, for example, a car steering wheel or wheel, also bear this name.

This traditional product of Russian cuisine can vary depending on the ingredients that are added when baking it. So, for example, there are fresh bagels (drying), which are respectively prepared on the basis of fresh dough and from time immemorial were considered a fairly poor treat. But sweet bagels are truly a confectionery treat, which, before baking, is flavored with a caramel mass based on granulated sugar and spices, mainly cinnamon. In addition, poppy or sesame is often used as sprinkling.

Salted bagels or dries also stand out, which are in high demand and are an excellent snack for beer. Before baking, they are sprinkled with large crystals of table salt, and sometimes some seasonings.

However, not everyone knows that you can make many interesting snacks from this product, which are great for not only the daily, but also the festive table. It is not difficult to make them, it is enough to show a little imagination. For example, you can fill pre-soaked bagels (drying) in milk with your favorite mince, bake them in the oven and an excellent snack for the New Year's table is ready.

In the process of cooking, you can make small adjustments at will by adding a little garlic or fried onions to the minced meat. And if suddenly there were no bagels at hand, they can easily be replaced with dryers or steering wheels.

However, due to the considerable calorie content of bagels (dryers), do not forget that you should not get carried away with this truly delicious treat, since in this case you can gain a couple of extra pounds.
