Many do not even pay attention to this product, but in vain, because this is the best rice variety grown in India and Pakistan. This type of grain is characterized by rather long thin snow-white grains that exude a subtle unique aroma.

Basmati rice is easy enough to cook, and the process won't take up a lot of your time: just put the washed rice in boiling water with a pinch of salt and a little olive oil, and then cook it for no more than ten minutes. After removing the pot from the stove, wait another 20 minutes and enjoy the finished dish. Interestingly, during the preparation process, Basmati rice grains increase exclusively in length, while becoming very crumbly, whole and very fragrant.

Thanks to the extraordinary aroma and excellent taste, boiled Basmati rice is already a delicious side dish. However, to enhance the taste of the finished dish in India, culinary experts add a variety of spices and spices to it - turmeric, cumin, lemon juice, pepper, cilantro, as well as coconut or sesame oil. It is customary to serve it with fresh or stewed vegetables. And in Europe, for example, Basmati rice is a great addition to meat - turkey, beef or chicken.

In traditional Indian cuisine, this rice is often used in conjunction with the classic sweet seasoning - Chutney. Initially, local fruits, for example, mangoes, were selected to prepare this unusual sauce for us, but today, in the era of globalization, you can take absolutely any fruit: apples, peaches, pineapples, plums, apricots, bananas, quince and many others. These juicy fruits are cut into a small cube and simmered almost uniformly to make a kind of fruit jam. But Chutney's heterogeneity is a prerequisite, meaning pieces of fruit must be present. Boiled Basmati rice combined with Chutney is a truly unique dish of Indian cuisine.

Along with the high gastronomic qualities, the benefits of Basmati rice for the human body are simply undoubted. Thus, this product contains a lot of useful substances - fiber, folic acid, amino acids, starch, iron, phosphorus, potassium, niacin, thiamine and riboflavin. It is known that dry rice is 70-80 percent starch, which means that the finished product is digested and absorbed not quite quickly. Thus, regular consumption of moderate amounts of Basmati rice as food ensures a systematic supply of glucose into the blood.

In addition, the benefit of Basmati rice lies in the content of dietary fiber, which envelops the stomach, protecting gastric secretion. And the fact that there is absolutely no cholesterol in its composition makes this product relevant for people suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
