Fruit chips are usually referred to as a group of products called snacks, that is, food intended for a quick snack. Moreover, unlike some other products of this kind, fruit chips are absolutely ready for consumption. In addition, they have a number of advantages over traditional potato chips - they lack preservatives and dyes along with carcinogens that are formed when fried in oil.

Among a fairly wide range of such natural treats, apple chips are not the last place. It is noteworthy that apple chips are made mainly by a sublimation method (otherwise vacuum sublimated drying), while many other similar products are obtained by oven drying, conversion to ice or frying in oil.

By the way, sublimation is a reverse condensation physical process, thanks to which you can perfectly save products, displacing liquid. That is why apple chips are natural apple slices (usually with a removed seed box), in which natural sweetness and sour notes of the fruit are preserved due to unique processing.

In addition, apple chips absolutely do not contain fat and, in fact, cholesterol, since apples are not fried. The finished product is crisp and sweet thanks to the natural fructose that is present in the fruits. By the way, about 350 grams of fresh fruits are used to obtain 25 grams of apple chips.

The calorie content of apple chips averages 253 kcal, while the product contains such useful substances as fructose, glucose, fiber, malic acid, iron, pectin and many others. For example, vitamin C in apple chips is responsible for maintaining immunity and the full operation of the cardiovascular system.

Intestinal activity regulates pectin, further exerting an antimicrobial effect and promoting the elimination of toxins and heavy metals from the human body. Iron and potassium are essential for proper development and growth as well as normalization of metabolic processes.

Being a recognized food additive, apple chips contain exclusively natural, not artificial vitamins, which is why they affect the human body faster and softer than synthetic vitamin complexes. According to nutritionists, apple chips are a product that can suppress appetite, improve intestinal function, additionally having a general strengthening effect.

In addition to eating pure apple chips, you can add porridge, juice or milk. The relatively low calorie content of apple chips will allow you to enrich and make rice, oatmeal, manure and other dairy dietary cereals tastier without adding extra nutritional value to them.
