There are more than one thousand options for preparing apple dishes in modern cooking. It is customary to use fragrant mature apples not only in fresh form, but also to use fruits for various types of household products. Most often, they make compotes from apples, cook jams, see and, undoubtedly, jam.

It is apple jam that is considered one of the most affordable and uncomplicated in the preparation of sweet desserts, which is also distinguished by high gastronomic value and health benefits. It is preferable to make jam from hard fruits of late ripening, but this is necessary if as a result it is desirable to obtain a product consisting of whole fruit lobes not boiled in puree.

In addition, the so-called jam from paradise apples is especially popular among culinary experts. In fact, this is just an extraordinary treat, both in taste and appearance - the finished product is a miniature fruit of the Chinese apple tree boiled in saturated sugar syrup.

Apples of the Chinese variety are fruits of the slivoleysky apple tree, which are characterized by very small sizes. It is noteworthy that very often the plant is called the paradise apple tree, which is wrong - the paradise apple tree exists in reality, but as a subspecies of the apple tree is low. Nevertheless, for most people, the correct name for these apples is not so important: the Chinese fruits were called and will be called paradise apples.

Ready-made jam from paradise apples is obtained in a kind of gelled pour that connoisseurs of this treat like so much. This feature is due to the presence in small fruits of a larger amount of biologically active substances compared to large-fruited fruits. In addition, miniature paradise apples are distinguished by a special tart taste.

To make homemade jam from paradise apples, ripe fresh fruits, granulated sugar and water are needed. For additional taste and aroma, it is also recommended to use a couple of lemon lobes. The fruits are washed, while the pedicel is left at the apples for 2/3 of the length - so in the finished dessert they will look more attractive.

To prevent the apples from cracking during heat treatment, it is recommended to prick them in several places using a simple toothpick. The essence of making jam from paradise apples is to gradually heat the fruits in sugar syrup and then cool it down. As a result, when the fruits are filled with syrup and become amber, the jam from paradise apples is ready. It can be served simply for tea or used to garnish desserts and cakes.
