Canned apricots

Canned apricots...

Apricots appeared in our latitudes due to the northeastern Chinese species of the plant, which is still found in a wild form in the Tien Shan region. Back in ancient times, Chinese medicine actively used the useful properties of apricot tree fruits. Apricot fruits naturally contain a sufficient amount of sugar (about 30%). The apricot contains useful natural sucrose compounds.

Remarkably, when fresh, the fruit is much less calorien than canned apricots or dried apricots. Canned apricots are considered a common and widely used food. In cooking, you can find no way to use canned apricots. However, as a rule, I use canned apricots for sweets and confectionery. For example, homemade pastries filled with canned apricots or cake with cream from apricot fruits, as well as cakes, croissants, straws and other types of sweets.

Canned apricots can be used as a standalone and useful dessert. The fact is that the chemical composition of apricots contains a large amount of vitamins and minerals, which are incredibly useful for the human body. As a result of heat treatment during preservation, some useful elements disappear or their initial amount in the product is reduced. However, this does not mean that canned apricots are no longer beneficial.

The product contains a large amount of active natural compounds in the form of potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, calcium, molybdenum and iodine. Eating canned apricots can be an excellent prevention of certain types of stomach diseases. However, do not get carried away with a sweet treat and uncontrollably consume canned apricots. First of all, because canned apricots are not an equally healthy product for everyone. For example, patients with diabetes are strictly contraindicated apricot fruits in large quantities.

It's all about the sugar content, which is rich in the composition of the product. Also, one should not forget that canned apricots are sweets, the frequent consumption of which can lead to overweight. The calorie content of canned apricots is at a fairly low level. However, the treat is rarely eaten in its pure form.

Usually, canned apricots are used in baking, which is a calorie product in itself. Add to this canned apricots, which contain a lot of sugar and, as a result, a combination that is dangerous for the harmony of the figure. Therefore, if you do not want to give up your favorite treat, use canned apricots in moderation, then the product will not harm your health or figure.
