Zemklunika

Zemklunika...

The earth moon is a hybrid that was obtained by crossing the strawberries of Milan and large-fruited garden strawberries in the seventies of the twentieth century. The dugout owes its appearance to the breeder Tatyana Kantor (Moscow Institute of Horticulture), who gave the new culture such a name.

The digger is distinguished by such characteristics as high winter resistance, large-fruiting, fragrance. The plant does not affect powdery mildew and is quite resistant to gray rot. Powerful digger bushes frame beautiful corrugated leaves, among which flowers and berries of the plant are located on tall erect peduncles. By the way, white flowers during flowering are able to form rather large beautiful hats.

The digger berries are quite dense. Their average size reaches two to three centimeters in length, but the very first in inflorescences are also characterized by more impressive sizes - up to five centimeters. As a rule, most varieties of diggers are characterized by a rich red color with a slight purple tint. Berries are distinguished by a subtle nutmeg aroma and sweet taste, they are well stored and transported. From one bush, diggers often collect up to 350 grams of berries.

Today, there are not very many varieties of diggers - they do not differ much from each other only in terms of economically valuable qualities. The most common are the varieties of dugouts of Russian selection: Kupchikha, Penelope, Raisa, Muscataya Biryulevskaya, Tsukat nutmeg, Report and Nadezhda Zagorya.

For example, the digger of the varieties Penelope and Butternut Turquoise are distinguished by rather large berry sizes (up to seven grams), an extraordinary sweetness saturated with nutmeg aroma, as well as pink and red colors, respectively.

The sweetest yellow-fruited hybrid of the early ripening period is the Yellow Miracle digger. Even one glance at this berry is enough to not resist and immediately eat it. Do not worry that there are no berries left on the dredger bushes - literally the next one there will be even more of them. This is a distinctive property of this type of digger - the more often you pick mature berries, the more forces the bush has to produce new ones. Over a season, more than a hundred mouth-watering little suns can be born on a single digger bush. And for people with allergies to red fruits, the Yellow Miracle dugout is truly salvation.

The digger is good not only fresh, but also after processing - especially fragrantly jam made from juicy sweet berries. The digger tolerates freezing well, both in the form of whole berries and in a puree-like state, maintaining its bright taste and rich aroma even after thawing. Mature digger berries contain vitamins C, E, beta-carotene and a variety of trace elements. The use of fetuses is useful in diseases of the cardiovascular system, rheumatism, increased pressure, arthritis and gout.
