The mushmool fruit is surprisingly tasty and unusually healthy for humans. The miraculous properties of mushmula are due to the content of a large amount of various vitamins and minerals, due to which the regular consumption of this fruit as food has a favorable effect on human health. In addition, it can cure mushmula from various diseases.

Mushmula is an evergreen shrub or small tree that belongs to the pink-flowered family. However, if you take care of the tree correctly, while creating all the necessary conditions for the plant, it can reach a height of eight meters.

China, the Himalayas and the northern part of India, where a humid subtropical climate prevails, are considered the birthplace of the mushmula. It is known that this plant prefers mountainous slopes and today you can find mushmula in almost any of the countries that have a mild and warm climate. So, large numbers of these trees and shrubs grow in Israel and Italy.

Around late September or early October, the mushmula begins to be covered with beautiful flowers, and the first fruits form on branches in spring. Rather fleshy, relatively large, fruits that are collected in brushes differ in different shapes - the fruit of the mushmul can be both rounded and spherical, and pear-shaped. Often the diameter of these fruits reaches 8 centimeters, but mostly they hardly exceed the size of the plum.

Within each fruit there are several seeds that are similar to the ossicles of persimmon. The juicy, sweet flesh of the mushmool fruit with a pleasant acid is surrounded by a thin skin, the color of which can range from cream to orange. To taste, this exotic fruit for us is similar to apricot, apple and strawberries combined.

For culinary purposes, mushmul fruit is consumed not only fresh, but also processed. It is mainly used to make oriental sweets, jam, jams, juices and compotes. In addition, the aromatic properties of mushmula allow you to add this fruit during the production of alcoholic beverages - liqueurs and wines. This is due not only to the excellent gastronomic qualities of the fruits, but also to the ability of the mushmula to ferment perfectly.

Mushmul fruit seeds have also found a very worthy use - they are based on a high-quality surrogate of the world's favorite coffee. By the way, in terms of its taste and fragrant qualities, a drink prepared on the basis of such raw materials is not inferior to the original, and, in addition, carries a lot of qualities useful for human health.
