Meanwhile, the word "orange" itself is characterized by Dutch origin, translating to a Chinese apple - as if hinting at the homeland of its appearance.

For a long time, oranges were considered an exquisite treat, which only representatives of the elite and royal families allowed themselves. Fortunately, today oranges are almost everywhere, and Spain, Morocco, the USA and South Africa are the leaders in exporting these fruits.

I would like to note that oranges are not only delicious, but also extremely healthy fruits. Thus, their chemical composition is replete with various vitamins, mineral salts, as well as many other biologically active compounds that are vital for the human body. It is due to this that it is so useful to consume oranges regularly.

Oranges are mainly used for food purposes in fresh form, but pickled oranges are often used in culinary affairs, which can act as a savoury snack, a baking filling or an elegant decorative product for confectionery.

The calorie content of pickled oranges is approximately 37 kcal, but depending on the marinade fill used, including the sugar content, the composition and nutritional value of this unusual product can vary.
