Chempedak

Chempedak...

In appearance, this exotic fruit called chempedak is very similar to jackfruit or durian. Many connoisseurs of fruits unconventional for our homeland assure that it has a divine aroma and insanely bright taste. The aroma of chempedak resembles the smell of confectionery, although for some the smell of this fruit is somehow associated with gasoline, fuel oil or diesel fuel.

Meanwhile, chempedak is a fruit of the mulberry family fruit tree, which is a close relative of jackfruit and breadfruit. Undoubtedly, they are very similar in appearance, however, unlike the last fruits, whose size can rightfully be called gigantic, the mass of a mature chempedak fruit on average reaches about two kilograms.

Ripe fruit is very easy to open with your hands - that is, it is kind of torn apart. The interior, like the jackfruit, consists of many orange lobes that contain round-shaped bones. Moreover, not only these wedges are considered edible, but also other components of the champion - in particular, the strips that surround the wedges. Interestingly, the taste of fresh fruit resembles sweet dough. In different countries with tropical climates, the taste tones of this fruit are different. There is an opinion that in Malaysia it has a light mushroom taste.

When choosing a mature fruit, you need to focus on its aroma and softness - the softer and more aromatic the chempedak, the more ripe it is. For culinary purposes, the flesh of fresh fruit is mainly used in the preparation of some salads, snacks, desserts and even meat dishes. In addition, they often decorate ready-made dishes.

Chempedak is considered one of the most interesting and not particularly common fruits, but nevertheless it is not only tasty, but also healthy. It contains a considerable amount of vitamins and minerals, thanks to which you can stabilize the entire body. In this regard, this delicious fruit is recommended for all Fructorians, whose vitamin levels are often very low.

It is believed that the benefit of chempedak for the human body lies in its ability to favorably affect the state of a person in neurotic diseases, poor mood and depression. It contains special substances that help in the fight against feelings of nervousness. This is probably why the champion is able to play the role of a natural sleeping pill well - only a couple of pieces of fresh fruit before going to bed and the feeling of security and calm is provided for you.
