However, such luxury in our latitudes is available only in the summer. Unfortunately, strawberry puree can only be stored for a few months after the preservation is made.

However, you can freeze fresh ripe strawberry berries and cook fruit puree from frozen berries in winter. Of course, the taste of strawberry puree from fresh berries will differ, but the product from frozen strawberries is also distinguished by its good vitamin-mineral composition. For strawberry puree, you will need: strawberries, preferably ripe and sweet, sugar and water. The amount of sugar depends only on the strawberry variety, the berries of which can be quite sweet, so you can not use sugar at all.

The strawberry berry is soaked in water for some time, and then thoroughly washed under running water. Place the purified berries in a blender, add water and sugar and grind everything thoroughly. Such strawberry puree can be eaten immediately. However, if you want to prepare the product for the winter, then it is worth cooking the fruit mass over low heat for about 25 minutes. Then decompose the strawberry puree into pre-sterilized jars. Strawberry puree can be stored in the refrigerator for several months.
