Courgette puree
The food product that is introduced first after juices into the baby's diet is puree. It is vegetable and fruit puree that begin to feed children, since they contain almost all the substances necessary for the correct development of the child's body and, moreover, they cannot harm the weak man.
One of the safest products, which is rightfully considered a hypoallergen for children, is zucchini. Experts in the field of pediatrics strongly advise to start feeding with zucchini puree, due to the fact that this vegetable has dietary qualities. It does not contain a lot of fiber, tough fibers, zucchini does not irritate the intestines and is quickly digested. This is probably why, according to statistics, courgette puree is included in the list of the most popular products preferred by young mothers.
Composition of courgette puree
Ideally, the composition of zucchini puree should be extremely simple: zucchini pulp and nothing else. Although in the product of industrial manufacture it is not uncommon to find some dietary supplements that cause anxiety in caring parents. These are mainly various kinds of stabilizers, thickeners and acidity regulators. In fact, they cannot bring special harm to the health of a little person, but there is no benefit from them either.
That is why most caring mothers easily begin to cook courgette puree on their own, since special skills are not required for this. The process of making mashed squash is quite simple: the vegetable is washed, peeled and seeds, the flesh is cut into a small cube and soaked for some time in cold water.
After that, courgette cubes with a little water are cooked until softened for 20 minutes. After boiling out the water, the cooked flesh cools a little and is crushed by improvised means - a blender, fork or using a sieve. As a result, it becomes apparent that a small amount of water and vegetable base are present in the homemade courgette puree composition.
Often, mothers cook courgette for steam, and not in water - this takes only about 10 minutes. And also a good option for preparing zucchini puree is baking a vegetable in the oven, only you need to first wrap the zucchini in foil. If the finished puree is too thick, you can dilute it with a drop of vegetable oil, a small amount of baby formula or milk. And you don't need to salt, because at first the child does a great job without salt and sugar.
When the baby gets used to zucchini puree, you can diversify his diet with other zucchini dishes, for example, mashed soup, pancakes, cutlets or casseroles.
