Plum juice

Plum juice...

Today, more than 300 different types of plum are known, and only about ten are cultivated - they can be found in the garden, on the household plot, as well as in special nurseries that are designed to breed these trees. Plum fruits are distinguished by a dark purple color and delicate light flesh. They are ideal for culinary use, where they are made with delicious and very healthy jams, jams, compotes and juices.

Plum juice is a fairly frequent guest in the kitchen of our hostesses, in particular, a variety of homemade wines, liqueurs, and syrups are made on its basis. In addition, this drink has excellent taste qualities and is often used in the preparation of numerous sweet dishes and desserts. Excellent gastronomic properties along with healing properties make plum juice a truly healthy product that is in demand and always available.

At home, it is best to cook plum juice with pulp, since it is in this state that all useful substances, in particular pectins, are preserved. Despite the fact that when mixed with other juices, the taste of this drink improves, some experts still do not advise not to do this, as they believe that it should be drunk separately.

It is very useful to consume freshly squeezed plum juice with pulp, adding a spoon of honey to it, in many diseases of the cardiovascular system, liver and kidneys. In addition, such a natural medicine helps with fever, gout and rheumatism. By the way, a cup of plum juice drunk on an empty stomach is able to effectively cleanse the slaked body of harmful substances, including cholesterol. The same property is manifested in the adverse consequences of the influence of radioactive substances and carcinogens.

In addition, with regular consumption of plum juice (within reasonable limits), the skin of the face improves - it becomes smoother, more elastic, velvety and tender. Even in cosmetology, this juice with pulp has found its application - there it is used as effective cleansing face masks.
