Smoked tea

Smoked tea...

Today we face a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All of them have their advantages and disadvantages. According to many scientists, tea has been the most popular drink for several thousand years. It is native to South and Southeast Asia. The main suppliers of the product are China and India. They account for the lion's share of tea exports, including to our country.

Speaking of the most interesting offers, you can't help but notice smoked tea. It differs from its counterparts in its peculiar taste and aroma. In its manufacture, a variety of techniques are used, for example, the first tilting in sunlight. After that, it twists and falls into baskets, where its further fermentation takes place. Then the tea is heated on the fire for 6-8 hours, until the smell of greens comes out of it. After that, it undergoes thermal treatment on pine wood, thanks to which it acquires a resinous, pine smell.

Smoked tea includes many varieties. The most famous include zheng shan xiao zhong. It has a rich red-burgundy color and a corresponding sheet. As for the aroma, it is similar to the southern fruits of guiyuan, and the taste is like cinnamon flowers. Beginners, however, usually compare the scent to the smell of ski ointment, turpentine, smoked fish or burnt rubber. For this reason, tea is suitable only for people who know a lot about it.

Drinking smoked tea

The drink is especially good in the cold season. Usually it is recommended to use it after a long physical effort: after skiing, mobile games, mountaineering, etc. For brewing with 200-300ml of water, only 1 teaspoon is used. Smoked tea is usually infused for at least 10 minutes. However, after the procedure, it should be kept warm. Before drinking, it is advised to take a short pause by inhaling the aroma of this wonderful drink.

Benefits of smoked tea

The drink, as we have noticed before, is not suitable for everyone. Sophisticated amateurs will be able to distinguish between notes of smoke and wood, as well as prunes, dried pears, ginger and caramel. Smoked tea has a beneficial effect on the nervous and circulatory systems. By using it systematically, you can improve your immunity.
