Interestingly, Irish coffee is not referred to as the usual hot coffee drinks, but as alcoholic cocktails to DJs. This type of cocktail is distinguished by the obligatory presence of cream in the final product. For this reason, DJs are often called cream cocktails. A cocktail of coffee in Irish refers precisely to such harmonious in taste and aroma types of alcohol-containing drinks. It is noteworthy that for the manufacture of cream cocktails, all the original compound ingredients are taken in equal amounts, proportions or ratios.

This approach ensures the softness of the taste and aroma of the final beverage. Irish coffee is considered a classic example of a separate coffee subspecies of DJs or cream cocktails. In addition to Irish coffee, there are several other world-famous coffee drinks, which will necessarily include black coffee or a mixture of several varieties, whipped cream, as well as liqueurs and a strong alcoholic component. It is also noteworthy that Irish coffee can be served both hot and cold.

In the first case, Irish coffee will be a great invigorating and refreshing drink, and in the second case, the drink will quickly warm and also cheer up great. However, it is worth noting that Irish coffee includes special ingredients that give the finished drink distinctive taste, aroma and consumer qualities. Perhaps it's the distinctive aged and sturdy Irish whisky that brings the Irish-style coffee to the punch line.

The Irish themselves, not without thoroughly, believe that real Irish coffee should be made only with Irish whiskey. In accordance with the classic recipe, Irish coffee will require the following ingredients: 80 ml or 4 parts of black coffee, a teaspoon of brown sugar, 30 ml or 1/3 parts of whipped cream, as well as 40 ml or 2 parts of real Irish whiskey.

Currently, coffee in Irish is officially called a cocktail, because the International Bartender Association (IBA) has included the drink in the official list of cocktails. There is not a single recipe for making coffee in Irish, however, the most common recipe can be considered below. So, in order to make an Irish coffee cocktail, you need to pre-brew black coffee.

It is advisable to do this in a coffee machine or Turk, so coffee beans will open up the fullness of their taste and aroma. Then you need to pour the finished black coffee into a special glass container (volume 150 cm

3), add sugar and place it well. Then Irish whiskey is poured into coffee, and the drink is decorated with cream pre-whipped in a mixer or shaker on top. For a cold version of coffee in Irish, you need to do the same procedure. Only replace hot black coffee, cold and add ice to the cocktail.
