Birch juice

Birch juice...

Birch juice is called the liquid released from the incisions on the birch trunk. In order to collect juice, a special groove made of aluminum or plastic is used, which is carefully inserted into the resulting slot. Transparent liquid flows through it into the container. It is very important at the end of juice collection to prevent the tree from drying out, so the cuts made are usually covered with wax.
