Southern Comfort liqueur is categorised as a so-called premium drink thanks to its luxurious fruity range of flavours, whisky and spice flavours. This legendary drink features a rich amber hue that smoothly turns into a bright and tender taste. Due to its excellent formulation, Southern Comfort liqueur is beautiful in all respects: both as a cocktail component and in its pure form.

Since Southern Comfort liquor, the name of which sounds like Southern Comfort in translation, has a moderately sweet and not cloying taste, while being sufficiently strong, both men and women are happy to drink it.

Interestingly, the south of America has always separated and stood out from other lands. The southerners are mainly distinguished from the rest of the population of this country by their character, traditions and attitude towards life as a whole. The only thing the American South people didn't get was their own Southern drink. Fortunately, in 1874 it appeared - it was just the Southern Comfort liquor.

Initially, the Southern Comfort liqueur was quite rough, calling it an exquisite drink was difficult. That is why bartenders sought to improve its taste in every possible way by serving Southern Comfort liquor to their sophisticated visitors. One such bartender was the young Heron Martin, originally from New Orleans. He experimented with Southern Comfort liqueur in various ways, while trying to keep the scent of whiskey in it.

Over time, the bartender achieved a softer and at the same time richer taste of Southern Comfort liquor, which became a kind of symbol of New Orleans. By the way, it was Heron Martin who presented the liquor with the world famous name - Southern Comfort. The new drink very quickly began to gain more and more popularity, in connection with which the bartender who created it was then lucky not only to pour the drink behind the bar, but also by bottle, selling it.

The Southern Comfort liquor was popularly nicknamed simply and tastefully - the Great Legend of the South. The liquor very soon confirmed its high status at the Paris exhibition, where the products of many countries of the world were presented. Some time later, Southern Comfort liquor went to the exhibition in St. Louis, where it also received medals and the highest praise.

4. It was then that a whole assembly of various cocktails was published as a separate book, which used Southern Comfort liquor. To date, cocktails with this liqueur have also been popular, with some known and loved for about six decades, such as the Scarlett O'Hara cocktail.
