Mozart liqueur
Mozart liqueur can hardly be called especially famous and popular among a number of similar drinks - for example, such as Sheridan's liqueur, Baileys, Malibu or Blue Curacao. Moreover, not every bar offers Mozart liqueur as a component of cocktails, although, in fairness, it is worth noting that its delicious taste is very noteworthy.
Meanwhile, the story of Mozart liquor, as is often the case, began long before the appearance of the brand drink itself. So, in Germany back in 1770, a distillery was opened under the leadership of Christoph Koenig. By the way, the first alcoholic beverages had practically nothing to do with the modern version of Mozart liquor. However, after the opening of the first plant, an enterprising manufacturer created a whole company, which over the years transformed into a solid family business.
Much later, namely in the middle of the 20th century, the company decides to change the location of its production and settles in another country - Austria. Thus, in 1981, a completely new type of branded products appeared - Mozart liqueurs.
By the way, the main and one can say the only direction of the new products was the release of the chocolate liqueur category. A special feature of Mozart liqueurs, as the name shows, is the use of various chocolate varieties as the main component.
To date, Mozart liquor is represented not by one, but by several taste areas. For example, Mozart Gold liquor, represented by a classic milk chocolate-based drink, has a strength of 17% and is sold in rounded pot bottles with golden packaging.
Mozart White liqueur is made from white chocolate and natural fresh cream. On sale, this drink is found in similar containers, only in white packaging and has a fortress two degrees lower.
Mozart Black liqueur (17%) is very rich in chocolate taste. The fact is that it is based on high-quality bitter chocolate, therefore, this exquisite drink has a strong taste, so to speak, on an amateur.
Another variety in the series of these products is Mozart Dry liqueur, which is characterized by increased strength (40%) and complete absence of sugar. However, despite the lack of sweet taste, the liqueur is not devoid of chocolate flavor and characteristic aroma.
Common to all Mozart liqueurs is the use of high quality alcohol derived from sugarcane, which plays the role of the base. With the exception of the last strong version of Mozart liqueur, everyone else can be absolutely harmoniously consumed in its pure form, thanks to its small alcohol content. Undoubtedly, Mozart liqueur with a rich chocolate taste has found its application in the formulation of a number of delicious cocktails.
For example, Don Giovanni, Mozart Orange Sonatina, Mozart Coca-Cola, Mint Mozart, Mozart milkshake and Orange Mozart make cocktails based on Mozart Gold liqueur. It is customary to make Magic Flute and Butterfly cocktails with Mozart White liqueur, while Mozart Black liqueur is essential for multiset drinks called Sprite Mozart, Chocolate Banana and Chocolate Lemon.
