Interestingly, the first trial batches of this drink were made by a merchant from Turku, Finnish-Swedish by nationality Anders Nordfors. Then Finland was part of the Russian Empire and in 1867 the brilliant entrepreneur received the right to industrial production of cloudberry liquor from Alexander II himself. That's when it all began.

By the way, the technology of making an alcoholic drink based on cloudberry fully complies with all environmental standards - for example, preservatives are not used in the production of cloudberry liquor. During this period of time, the cloudberry not only stains the alcohol, endowing it with all the sunny shades, but also transfers most of the vitamins to it.

It is worth noting that such liqueur drinks in Finland are made from blueberries, cranberries, lingonberries and sea buckthorn.
