Today, a juicy berry called cranberry is rightfully ranked among the most popular berries that I deserve this not only due to its taste properties, but also to its therapeutic action. As you know, cranberries are an effective antibiotic of natural origin, so the use of this valuable berry is especially important in the autumn-winter season, when human immunity is extremely weakened.

Something that culinary experts did not come up with to preserve the taste, aroma and beneficial properties of this magical berry. So, cranberries are dried, dried, dessert is made, dipping it in powdered sugar, used to prepare healing and very tasty cranberry juice, fruit juice and syrup. In addition, cranberries produce an unusually rich sauce and, undoubtedly, cranberry liqueur.

Cranberry liqueur has a pronounced taste and has a characteristic aroma for this berry. If you dilute cranberry liqueur with edible ice or soda, the result is an excellent thirst quenching drink, which has a weak strength. Bright cranberry liqueur is advised to be added when preparing a variety of multicomponent cocktails or used as a flavoring additive to ice cream. In addition, on the basis of cranberry liqueur, you can make many delicious and simple dishes: sorbets, jelly, pastries, cakes and much more.

Today, you can buy ready-made cranberry liquor in almost any of the major retail chains - as a rule, this product is produced in glass bottles, moreover, by different manufacturers and under different brands. The cost of cranberry liquor from well-known manufacturers undoubtedly sometimes reaches a fairly high level, but the taste and aroma of the drink is worth it.

Still, making a homemade cranberry liqueur for many culinary professionals is not particularly troublesome. Especially if you have a sufficient amount of mature juicy berries and high-quality alcohol-containing raw materials. As the latter, either purified food alcohol or high-quality vodka is perfect.

Interestingly, there are two ways to make cranberry liqueur. The first involves using the berries themselves, while the second requires squeezing their cranberry juice. If you prefer to use whole berries, they need to be insisted on the alcohol component for about a couple of weeks, after which filter the resulting infusion and mix it with saturated sugar syrup.

According to the recipe for preparing cranberry liqueur using berry juice, freshly squeezed raw materials are mixed with alcohol or vodka and immediately diluted with sugar sand syrup prepared in advance. In both cases, it is recommended to additionally insist on cranberry syrup for some time so that the drink turns out to be more aged, and therefore has a rich taste and aroma.
