White semi-dry wine

White semi-dry wine...

White semi-dry wine is called table wine, in which the alcohol content varies from 9-13 percent, while the amount of sugar ranges from 5 to 25 grams per cubic decimeter.

White semi-dry wine is produced in absolutely all regions of winemaking. However, it is known that, for example, in Austria and Germany, white wines account for up to 70 percent of the total production of a grape drink. In these countries, the Gruner Veltliner grape variety is mainly cultivated, which serves as an excellent basis for the manufacture of most varieties of white wine. German white semi-dry wines are usually consumed not aged, but young. In addition, they are often diluted with water, which is called Gespritzter among connoisseurs.

In our country, such brands of white semi-dry wine as Aligote, Chardonnay, Riesling, Canti, Sauvignon Blanc, Acacopia, Monastery hut and some others are especially popular.

Proper drinking of a natural grape drink, including white semi-dry wine, is an art. That is why in order to achieve the desired effect from the consumption of this drink, it is important to know not only how to enjoy wine correctly, but also what it can or cannot be combined with.

The taste of wine is negatively affected by factors such as tobacco smoke, strongly spicy culinary odors that do not allow you to fully enjoy the aroma of a good drink, citrus fruit acid and the fat content of some fish, which gives the white semi-dry wine a disgusting taste of metal. In addition, it is not recommended to enjoy a glass of such wine with dishes that are seasoned with curry sauce or mint.

Meanwhile, white semi-dry wine is perfectly paired with fish dishes, which are made from skinny varieties of water inhabitants, and then seasoned with sauces with a subtle aroma and delicatessen taste. Fish knels and just fried fish come up to such a drink. However, for an even brighter and more complete taste, white semi-dry wine should differ in a certain temperature. In this case, it is recommended to cool the drink to 10-12 degrees, while in the summer the temperature can be further reduced by a couple of degrees.
