Apricot liqueur or Apricot liqueur is an alcoholic beverage that is commercially produced by mixing or maceration of alcoholic raw materials with apricots. In general, maceration is considered the most high-quality way of making apricot liquor - in the process, brandy insists on fruits for at least six months, and sometimes longer.

After that, when mixed, flavoured alcohol is combined with fresh juice, which is obtained by squeezing fruit. At any festive feast, high-quality apricot liquor will take far from the last place - many guests prefer this particular drink. Apricot liquor is distinguished simply by a magical aroma and undoubtedly pleasant taste - even those who are not particularly versed in drinks of this kind can feel it.

Around the world, apricot liquor produces many companies, for example, this drink is in particular demand under the brands Bolts Apricot or De Kuyper Apricot Brandy. They are quite easy to find not only in specialty stores, but also in ordinary supermarkets. However, more and more people prefer to cook homemade apricot liquor, which can be easily made from natural products in their kitchen.

For the preparation of apricot liquor at home, it is advised to take not fruits of selected quality, which may be slightly underdone and not so sweet, but apricots, so to speak, of substandard quality. They tend to be slightly overripe, soft to the touch, crumpled, but they're actually unusually fragrant and very sweet.

Basically, homemade apricot liquor is prepared in two ways - based on fresh fruits and the juice of these fruits. In the first case, crushed apricots are poured with an alcohol component, in the role of which food alcohol, high-quality vodka, brandy, rum or cognac are used, and are infused in tightly sealed containers for some time. The second option is characterized by mixing apricot juice with alcohol and the same exposure.

In both cases, an apricot tincture is obtained, which is carefully filtered and then combined in certain proportions with the prepared sugar syrup, the amount of which directly depends on the strength and sweetness of the finished drink. True, if you use apricot juice, make it yourself, since the store product is ultimately unlikely to please you with its taste.

The finished apricot liqueur can not only be drunk in its pure form, but also used to make unusually tasty alcoholic cocktails. Also, a spoon of this divine drink added to a cup of coffee or tea will significantly transform it and delight you with its scent.
