Cut the carrots into thin straws. Cut tomatoes into thin slices, paprika into thin strips. Heat vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, water, salt and ketchup in a separate container. Mix until smooth and bring to a boil over medium heat. Put carrots, tomatoes and paprika in the liquid. Keep on fire for 2-3 minutes. The sauce works well with fish dishes.
