Sugar is poured with water, mixed and boiled. The obtained syrup is poured into enameled dishes, well-washed raspberries are added and covered with a lid. Top is covered with a thick towel. Raspberries are kept in sugar syrup for up to two hours, then strained through a sieve (without kneading the berries). The juice can be diluted with carbonated or mineral water.
