How to make a casserole with potatoes, tomatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them in running water from dirt. Cream can be used of any fat content. The fatter they are, the more creamy the finished potatoes will taste. I have cream with a fat content of 33%.
Any heat-resistant mold can be used for baking. I have a ceramic shape. Brush the bottom and sides of the form with vegetable oil. Cut the peeled potatoes into circles and place in a prepared tin, evenly distributing them over the entire surface.
Pour prepared cream over the potatoes. Sprinkle to taste with salt and spices.
Cut the tomatoes into circles and spread in an even layer over the entire surface of the potatoes. Tomatoes can also be salted a little. Cover the tin with foil and place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 35 minutes. Navigate your oven.
While the potatoes are baking, prepare the cheese. Rub it on a coarse grater.
Remove the foil sheet from the baked potatoes and try the potatoes.
Spread a few small pieces of butter over the potatoes. On hot potatoes, the oil will immediately melt. Then sprinkle the casserole over the grated cheese and place in the oven for a further 10-20 minutes. Navigate potato readiness.
The cheese has completely melted. Remove the tin from the oven. Serve the casserole to the table hot. You can sprinkle with herbs. It will be a great addition to meat or fish dishes. Enjoy your meal!
