How to make French meat from beef with potatoes? Very simple. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Cheese and mayonnaise can take any, to your taste. Wash and dry the potatoes.
Peel the garlic and pass through the press. If the garlic cloves are small, you can take a little more to be enough for all the meat.
Cut the beef into slices no more than 1cm thick. The flesh can be used from any part of the carcass, but it is desirable that it does not contain rigid large veins. I have meat from my hip. To make it more convenient to slice the meat, I put it in the freezer for 1. 5 hours. Instead of a whole piece, you can take portion beef in the cut.
Beat the meat well with a hammer. Salt the beef, pepper and rub with crushed garlic.
Peel and chop the potatoes.

Spread the beef in one layer on top of the potatoes.
Grease the meat with the remaining mayonnaise.
Distribute the onions on top.
Place the remaining potatoes on the onions.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Put the tin in the oven warmed to 180 ° C for 45-50 minutes. The exact time depends on the features of your oven. If the cheese has started to blush and the meat and potatoes are not yet ready, cover the tin with foil. Try to prevent the foil from touching the cheese layer, otherwise all the cheese will stick to the foil.
