How to make baskets or tartlets from puff pastry with red caviar? To make our festive, beautiful snack, prepare the ingredients you need. Pre-thaw the puff dough in the fridge without removing it from the bag. You can use both dough in plates and rolled up roll. Pre-remove the butter from the refrigerator - it should be at room temperature.
Whisk the egg lightly with a fork.
Place the dough on a flour-dusted table and roll lightly in one direction to about 7mm thick. Cut 40-50 circles out of the dough with a round notch or a glass about 5 cm in diameter.
At half of the circles, using another smaller-diameter notch (3-4 cm), cut out the midpoints and remove them.
On the one hand, you will get even circles, and on the other, the same number of round rims that will serve as walls for wolves.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment and put whole rounds of dough on it and gently brush the egg on top.
Spread the rims on top and press lightly. Also brush them with an egg, trying to prevent it from getting on the sides, as this will prevent the dough from lifting. Put the tray with layered blanks in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Then put the volovans in the oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for about 15-20 minutes until expanded and golden crust appears. It is advisable to put a baking tray with water on the bottom of the oven so that the puff dough rises better or sprinkles water from the spray bottle a couple of times.
Remove the ready-made volovans from the oven and press the middle with your fingers or spoon handle, as they will also rise during baking. Cool the blanks.
Butter can be distributed among the blanks with a regular spoon, but I prefer to use a confectionery bag with a small nozzle & quot; closed star & quot;. With its help, you can form beautiful stars from oil.
In the cooled willows, settle a little soft butter from the bag.
Distribute 1 tsp of red caviar on top.
Garnish with butter stars and parsley sprigs. Serve to the table immediately. If the supply is not planned immediately, fold the volutes into the container and close the lid tightly so that the caviar does not curl, and put in the refrigerator. In the same way, you need to store the remains of this snack. Enjoy your meal!
