How do you make grilled king prawns at home? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Defrost the shrimp at room temperature or in the fridge without removing from the bag. If cooking over an open fire is supposed, it is better to take completely raw shrimp of natural gray color and, if possible, the same large size.
Put half of the grated aromatic gruel on the bottom of a wide container, add 6 tbsp. oil, mix everything well. Then lay the shrimp in a shell, preferably in one layer. Just a little salt and sprinkle a little on top with dry spices for fish. Gently turn the shrimp over, and repeat the process with the spices. Leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. First, lay out the peeled shrimp (they marinate faster), fry them for 1. 5-2 minutes on each side. You can lay it out either separately or by putting it on skewers. Ready-made shrimp lose transparency and turn golden orange, and become almost half the original size. Remove the finished king prawns from the pan.
Then start frying the shrimps in the shell. Fry for 3-4 minutes each side, until bright orange. If you cook longer, then the meat will become rubber and tough.
