How to make champignons with cheese and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. Mushrooms are suitable, the hat of which holds the shape well. Of course, first of all these are champignons, but there may be some seasonal forest mushrooms: aspen mushrooms, white. For a more aesthetic look, it is better to use mushrooms of the same size, so champignons are ideal here. Forest mushrooms of the same size in such quantities are difficult to find.
Place the cheese on top of the tomatoes. In principle, the top of the snack can be sprinkled with grated cheese before baking - it will probably even be more beautiful! But this thought came to me after the preparation of the dish. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking by your oven.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. It can be anything, but for frying I recommend taking refined varieties - such oils do not burn. Add the onion and mushrooms to the pan and fry everything together until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Salt a little.
Prepare the heat-resistant mold. Put the mushroom caps in it with holes up.
Grate half the cheese. Cheese can be anything: both hard and semi-hard, mozzarella will also work. Add the grated cheese to the pan to the fried mushrooms with the onions and stir to combine. Stuffing for mushroom hats is ready.
Stuff the mushroom hats with the cooked filling.
Wash the tomato, remove the stalk and cut into circles. Ideally, tomato mugs should be the same size as mushroom hats. But if you suddenly have a very large tomato, cutting into wedges is quite suitable.
Place the tomato wedges or mugs on the mushrooms.
Cut the remaining cheese into plates according to the size of mushroom hats.
