Puff dough - 500 gr, Chicken fillet - 500 gr, Hard cheese - 50 gr, Mayonnaise - 4 tbsp., Chicken eggs - 1 pc., Salt - to taste, Ground black pepper - to taste, Wheat flour - 2 tbsp.
How to make puff pastry chicken puffs? Prepare all of the listed ingredients. Remove the puff dough from the freezer beforehand and defrost according to the instructions.
Wash the chicken fillet, dry with paper towels. Cut the meat as finely as possible with a knife into cubes. Transfer to a suitable container. Salt and pepper to taste.
Grate hard cheese on a medium grater. Cheese can be anything, the main thing is that it is tasty, high-quality and melts well in the oven. Instead of firmly cheese, you can take suluguni or mozzarella.
Send the cheese to the meat, add a couple of spoons of mayonnaise or sour cream, natural yogurt without additives. Stir the mince thoroughly with a spoon.
Cut the thawed dough into rectangular pieces.
Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and roll each strip about 3mm thick.
On each strip of dough, make cuts in the middle and two in the corners with a regular knife or pizza. Do not cut the center, it should remain intact.
Put about a tablespoon of minced meat in the center.
Wrap the filling first with the top triangle of the dough. Secure the edges well.
Now wrap with a side petal, which is on the right and fix the edges.
Wrap the last lobe and pinch the edges.
Place the preforms of the open rosé pies on a baking sheet, which is pre-lined with a culinary baking mat or parchment.
Shake one egg in a bowl. Using a culinary brush, brush the pies on all sides, including the filling. Thanks to the egg, the pastry will get glossy and golden crust.
10 minutes before baking, turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees. Bake the chicken puffs for about 35 minutes until the ruddy crust appears. But since everyone's ovens are different, the baking time may be different. Serve chicken puffs with pickles, salads, fresh greens or sauces.
