How to make a honey cake? Start cooking by baking the cakes. Prepare the products for them. I used a 250ml glass for food. Honey, as the main ingredient, choose natural, tasty and fragrant, the taste of the finished dish will depend on it. Butter also take high-quality, without vegetable additives in the composition.
How to make corgi? Take a saucepan with a thick bottom and high sides. Put the butter in it, pour in the sugar, add the honey. Place the bucket on a small heat and boil, stirring, until boiling. As soon as this happens, pour soda into the mass.
Do not stop interfering, cook the mixture for about 2 minutes. It will first whiten and increase in volume, and then settle and acquire a caramel color. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Cool the resulting mass to room temperature. Then drive the eggs into it. Be sure to wash your eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Mix the mass well with a whisk until smooth. It will turn out to be a dark color, it should be.
Start adding the sifted flour to the saucepan in portions, kneading well after each.
The result is a sticky, medium-thick dough that can be spoon-smeared. Flour can go either more or less from what is stated in the recipe, navigate the consistency of the dough.
Take a baking sheet (I have 30 * 40cm) and cover it with parchment. Spread half the dough over it in a thin layer.
Bake the cake in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. It will rise a little and spring when pressed. Remove the finished cake from the oven and remove from the tray. Bake the second cake similarly. Leave them to cool.
While the corgi cool, make the cream. Prepare the products for it. Take sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%. To make the cream more stable, you can pre-weigh it in gauze. For cream based on sour cream, it is better to take powder, not sugar - it will dissolve faster and will not creak on the teeth.
How to make a cream? Pour icing sugar into the sour cream.
Stir the products until uniform. I do not use a mixer, as the heat of whipping cream cream becomes thicker. The cream is ready, it remains to collect the cake.
Remove the finished cakes from the paper and put them on top of each other. Cut them in half and place the soulmate on top of each other as well. Cut the edges of the resulting rectangle evenly. Do not throw away the trimmings - they will go to the crumb for sprinkling the top.
Rinse the trimmed cakes with sour cream.
Do not rinse the top bark, put the cream for it in the refrigerator. Place the board on top and place the load on it. Remove the cake with the load to the fridge overnight. This way you get completely even and neat cakes. But this is not a mandatory step, you can miss it.
After a night in the fridge, rinse the top cake with the leftover cream. If you did not level the cake, but only collected the cake, then put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to soak.
Crush the trimmings in any convenient way to a state of small crumbs. I took advantage of the rolling pin.
Sprinkle the top of the honeydew with crumbs. I once again cut the edges so that the cakes turned out more evenly.
Cut the resulting cake into cakes. I got 4 pieces.
Serve the cakes to the table. You can decorate them with berries, chocolate or nuts. Enjoy your meal!
