How to make pies with onions and eggs on kefir? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Boil the eggs beforehand in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool them in cold water. Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate it with oxygen.
Take a comfortable deep bowl to make the dough. Pour the warm kefir into the bowl and add the soda. Stir. Soda will immediately react with kefir and begin to bubble.
Then add sugar, salt and vegetable oil to the bowl. Mix everything up.
Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough. In the amount of flour, navigate the consistency of the finished dough.
The finished dough is soft, plastic and does not stick to the hands. Cover it with a towel and leave to lie a little while you make your patty filling.
Finely chop a bunch of spring onions to make the filling.
Transfer the chopped onions to a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Remember the onion with salt so that it becomes softer and starts to juice.
Peel the cooled eggs from the shell and finely chop. Add the eggs to the onion and mix well until smooth.
Cut the dough into pieces. The number of pieces depends on what size you want to get the pies. I got 16 pies out. Roll or mash each piece of dough a little. Put a little onion filling in the center, pinch the edges and form a pie.
So make all the pies.
Preheat the frying pan to hot and pour in some vegetable oil. Place the prepared patties and fry them over a low heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
The pies will become a mouth-watering golden colour.
Fold the finished pies into a bowl and cover with a towel. Let them lie steaming and come a little. Nice treat!
