How to make honey cakes with cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this.
In a non-stick saucepan, combine the butter and honey. Put on the heat and wait for the oil to melt.
Separately, mix the eggs with the sugar.
Stir in the melted oil to the eggs. Then pour everything back into the pan and return to the heat. With constant stirring, bring to the boil and remove from the heat.
Add the soda and stir. The mass will begin to foam and increase in volume. This is the reaction of honey with soda. Leave everything to cool until warm.
Then add the sifted flour and knead the dough.
The finished dough is soft, plastic and does not stick to the hands. Leave it to lie down a little. If the cakes are not immediately baked, then you can remove the dough in the bag in the refrigerator and store for a week.
Roll out the dough on a sheet of parchment and cut out the future size of the cakes with a mold. Remove the excess dough. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 3-5 minutes. Honey dough is prepared very quickly. The blanks will become golden in color. Cool them down. The number of finished cakes will depend on the selected diameter of the preforms.
For the cream, whisk together the cream, 33% fat, with powdered sugar to a lush stable cream. Then stir curd cheese into the cream.
Deposit the finished cream using a pastry bag on honey cakes. Optionally, you can add jam to the center. I really like the combination with blackcurrant.
Assemble the cakes completely, put in the closing utensils and put them in the fridge overnight. In a closed dish, all moisture from the cream will be soaked in cakes and make them soft and juicy.
Ready-made cakes can be decorated with any fruit or berries. Nice treat!
