Puff pastry boats with meat
4 servings1 hour
Puff dough - 500 gr, Minced meat - 500 gr, Hard cheese - 100 gr, Onions - 1 pc., Egg yolks - 1 pc., Salt - to taste, Dry spices - to taste, Sesame - 3 tbsp., Wheat flour - 3 tbsp. L.
To prepare boats, the first step is to prepare the filling. To do this, peel the onion from the husks and rinse in cold water. Finely chop the onions with a sharp knife.
Fold the required amount of minced meat into a spacious bowl. Add the finely chopped onions to it. Add a little salt and spice to taste. As a spice, it will be enough to add a little ground black pepper and dry dill or parsley.
Mix the whole mass with your hands until smooth so that all the ingredients mix evenly with each other.
Puff dough is most often used purchased frozen. So get it out of the freezer beforehand and let it melt. Place the dough on a lightly floured table. Roll it out a little and cut it into rectangles. On each rectangle, cut the sides.
Put a little meat filling in the center of each rectangle and sprinkle with cheese, grated in advance. Then wrap one part of the dough with the cut into the filling. And then the second part. Thus, filling will look out of the cuts. Pinch the edges a little.
Place the finished puff boats on a baking tray lined with cooking paper. Brush each boat with egg yolk and sprinkle a little with sesame seeds. Place the baking tray in the oven, warmed to 180 degrees, for 30-40 minutes.
The ready-made boats will be a beautiful golden color. Remove them from the oven, cool a little and treat them. Enjoy your meal!
