How to make converters with apples from puff dough? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Pull the puff pastry out of the freezer beforehand to thaw. The dough can be used both yeast and non-yeast. Choose apples that are sweet and sour to taste.
While the puff dough is defrosting, make apple filling. Peel the apples and remove the core. Dice the apples. In a pan, melt a slice of butter and place the chopped apples. Add sugar and cinnamon to them. Stir and fry for 2-4 minutes.
At first, juice will appear from the apples, but it will become viscous very quickly and the apples will be covered, as it were, with caramel coating. Remove the apple filling from the heat and cool.
Roll the puff pastry a little and cut into 6 squares.
Put the apple filling on each piece. Gather the pastry corners in the center and glue the edges with a converter.
Transfer the converters to a baking sheet lined with culinary parchment. Brush them with egg yolk on top and sprinkle a little with sugar.
Bake the converters in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20-30 minutes. They prepare very quickly! Once the pastries are blush and golden - remove the baking sheet from the oven, cool a little and treat. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking by your oven.
