Wheat flour - 320 gr, Sugar - 250 gr, Kefir - 250 ml, Butter - 200 gr, Eggs - 3 pcs., Cocoa powder - 1 table, Water - 1 table, Baking soda - 1 tea.
How to make Zebra cake in the oven on kefir? Very simple! Prepare the necessary ingredients to begin with. Eggs and kefir are preferably room temperature, so get them out of the fridge beforehand. Wash the eggs and dry with napkins.
Drive the eggs into a separate bowl and stir with a whisk until smooth, gradually pouring over the sugar. The mixer does not need to be used, as we do not need lush air mass. And with a whisk, it is also advisable not to beat the dough, but to mix. If there are many bubbles of air in the dough, they will all rise to the surface when baking and spoil the surface of the cake.
Melt the butter and cool to room temperature.
Stirring the egg mixture constantly, pour melted butter into it in a thin stream.
Then pour in the kefir at room temperature and stir everything until smooth.
Sift the flour with soda and pour parts into the dough, stirring each time until smooth. Instead of soda, you can use baking powder, because with soda the reaction is stronger and the pie can rise and crack a lot, and this will spoil the beautiful top. Keep in mind that flour can leave you more or less than mine - focus on the consistency of the dough.
Homogeneous flowing dough of medium density should be obtained.
Divide the dough into two equal parts.
Pour the boiled water into the cocoa and mix until smooth.
Pour into one part of the cocoa dough and stir until smooth. If desired, you can add vanilla flavor to the second white part.
Cover the baking tin (20-22cm diameter) with parchment and brush with butter. Pour 2 tbsp. l of white mass, then 2 tbsp. l of chocolate mass. Alternate between both types of dough, fill out the entire form. For circles to be flatter, the spoon must be kept strictly upright.
On the surface, pattern with a toothpick. Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 35-40 minutes. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking by your oven.
Chill the finished cake, remove from the tin, cut into pieces and serve. Enjoy your meal!
