How to make a Number 8 cake? First, prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough.
Put butter and honey in a non-stick saucepan. Place the pan over a slow heat and melt the oil. It should almost melt, but not have time to warm up.
Drive the eggs into a bowl and pour in the sugar. Mix them thoroughly using a whisk.
When the butter has almost melted, add an egg mixture to it. When stirring, bring the mass to a boil.
Remove the pan from the heat, immediately add the soda and stir. The reaction of honey with soda will begin, the mass will foam and increase in volume. Cool the honey mass to a warm state or room temperature.
Pour flour into the honey mass and knead the dough. Perhaps it will seem that the dough asks for more flour, but there is no need to add. The dough can stick a little to your hands.
Put the dough in a bag and put it in the fridge for an hour. During this time, it will lie down, and it will become convenient to work with it. It will stop sticking.
To stencil the number 8, fold the sheet A4 half and draw half of the number 8 on one half of it. Cut it out along the contour. So it turns out to be symmetrical. If desired, you can cut into numbers and internal circles. Turn on the oven 180 degrees in advance
Roll the finished dough about 4-5 mm thick. Cut the number 8 along the stencil contour. Tip the stock over the entire surface with a fork and bake for 4-7 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Cool the ready-made corgi.
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the cream. Remove the curd cheese from the refrigerator in advance, it should be at room temperature. The cream must be cooled.
Using a mixer, whisk the icing sugar cream into a puffy cream. Then stir curd cheese into it.
Fill the pastry bag with cream, cut off its tip and deposit the cream over the entire surface of the number. If desired, in the layer of cake, you can add a little berry confitur.
Putting the cake on the cake, collect the cake. In a water bath or microwave, melt the chocolate. Using melted chocolate, highlight the outline of the inside of the number 8.
Top the cake with cream. Cover the cake with something so it can soak well. I usually put it in a cake box and close it tightly so that all the moisture from the cream is absorbed into the cake, thereby soaking them well. Put the cake in the fridge overnight.
Decorate the finished cake as you like. You can put fruits or sweets on it.
