Heat the pan over a medium heat. You don't need to lubricate it with anything, because there is enough fat in the salmon, besides, the fish was drunk with sauce. Place the fish steaks in the pan. If there is a grill pan, then you can cook on it. If desired, you can grease the steaks with soy sugar sauce. Simmer the fish over a medium heat until ruddy crust appears for about 6-8 minutes. Turn the steaks over to the other side and languish for a further 6 minutes.
