How to make sour cream sauce - gravy is simple and tasty? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sour cream can be taken of any fat content. I have 20% sour cream. The higher the fat content of sour cream, the more creamy the taste of the finished sauce will be.
Heat a small frying pan to hot and sift flour into it. Make the fire smaller. In a dry pan, fry the flour, stirring to turn a slightly creamy shade. Then cool the flour so that it is not so hot.
Pour some hot water into the pan and mix it with the flour. The flour forms lumps. Wipe them with your shoulder blade so they disappear.
Then pour in the remaining water and, stirring, bring the sauce to a boil. Simmer it for 2-3 minutes.
Now add sour cream to the sauce. Intervene it to a uniform state. Salt the sauce to taste. Depending on the purpose of using the finished sauce, spices can also be added - ground peppers, paprika or dried herbs. Slowly bring the sour cream sauce to a boil.
Due to the added flour, the gravy thickens. If you like a more liquid version, then you can add a little more water. To make the gravy more uniform, you can pass the sauce through a sieve or punch with a submerged blender.
Ready-made gravy can be used to supplement any meat dishes or simply water any side dish with it. Enjoy your meal!
