Sour cream - 200 g, Onions - 3 pcs., Vegetable oil - 20 g, Wheat flour - 2 tbsp., Water - 200 ml, Salt - to taste, Dry spices - to taste
How to make gravy with onions and sour cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sour cream can be taken of any fat content. The fatter and thicker the sour cream, the creamier the ready-made gravy will be.
Peel the onions and rinse in cold water. Then chop the onions. You can cut into half rings or a little smaller. Orient yourself to your taste. The finer the onion is chopped, the more uniform the result will be.
Heat the frying pan to hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Spoon in the chopped onions. Fry it for a minute to make it clearer.
Then make a smaller heat and simmer the onions slowly for another 4-5 minutes. After languishing, the onion will begin to fry slightly.
Sprinkle the onion with flour and stir. Warm the onion with the flour for a minute, stirring constantly.
Next, add the required amount of sour cream.
Add salt and spices to taste. I add a mixture of ground peppers and some dried basil. You can change spices to your liking.
Stir everything and warm up. Bring the gravy to the desired density by pouring hot water into it.
Simmer over minimal heat, literally, 2-3 minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Keep in mind that when the gravy cools, it will become a little thicker.
Ready-made onion gravy with sour cream can be supplemented with any second dish or watered with a side dish. Enjoy your meal! Help yourself!
