Meat gravy with flour and tomato paste
6 servings50 min
Pork - 700 gr, Onion - 250 gr, Water - 500 ml, Tomato paste - 2 tbsp, Wheat flour - 2 tbsp, Vegetable oil - 50 ml, Salt - to taste, Pepper - to taste, Bay leaf - to taste
Let's prepare the products. Wash the meat and dry with paper towels.
Cut the pork pulp into pieces across the fibres.
In a suitable frying pan (I have a large sauté pan), pour vegetable oil, heat and lay out our pieces to fry.
Cut the onions into a cube.
We stir the meat, it should fry well.
Add onions to the meat and fry for 5-7 minutes.
When the onion is soft, add flour, mix well and fry for 3 minutes over a small heat.
Salt-pepper to taste, add tomato paste or sauce, which you like. Stir and warm for a couple of minutes.
Then we all pour 500 milliliters of boiling water so that the meat does not stop its heat treatment. Stir, cover and simmer everything over a medium heat for 30 minutes. Stir periodically. Taste it if you need to add salt.
Our fragrant pork gravy is ready. The meat is very tender and fragrant. Serve hot with any side dish.
Enjoy your meal!
