It is worth including mandarin in traditional meat salads, and its sour-sweet taste will decorate and make the meal incredibly tasty and juicy. In general, mandarin is a great refreshing ingredient for many salads. His presence in the dish will not go unnoticed. Therefore, I recommend trying mandarin as a substitute, for example, pineapples, apples or corn. For salad, it is better to take sweet and juicy tangerines. To make the meat in the salad tastier, when cooking, you can salt it and add aromatic herbs and bay leaves to the boiling broth. After cooking, the meat in cold form is used directly in the salad, and the strained broth is useful for preparing other dishes. The processed cheese can be replaced with regular cheese, which can also be diced or grated over a coarse grater. Many variations of this salad can be found online. Some use mayonnaise or various sour cream dressings, others use vegetable oil, olive or sunflower. Depending on this, the rest of the composition of the products is determined. I offer a basic version of this salad with mayonnaise dressing. You can also add Beijing cabbage, boiled crumbly rice for satiety.

How to make a salad with tangerines and chicken? Prepare the right ingredients. I have one chicken breast, you can take other parts of the chicken. Instead of processed cheese, you can use any solid or semi-solid, rubbing it on a grater. Try to select tangerines that have thin film on the wedges.
Boil the chicken fillet until tender in salted water. Remove the meat from the stock, chill it, then cut into small cubes. You can use the broth at your discretion, we will not need it here.
Peel tangerines and divide into wedges. Cut each wedge into 3 parts. As I wrote above, take tangerines with thin film on wedges. If your fruit is thick, carefully remove it from each wedge, taking care not to damage the juicy flesh. It is also advisable to remove all white.
Put the melted cheese in the fridge for 20 minutes to make it comfortable to chop. Now cut the cheese into small cubes. You can grate it on a medium grater, then the salad will turn out to be more delicate.
Finely chop the peeled walnuts. To remove bitterness from the skin, you can soak the nuts in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water, dry the nuts.
In a matching salad, combine the boiled chicken fillet, cubes of melted cheese, chopped tangerine wedges and walnuts.
Season the salad with mayonnaise and stir. Mayonnaise is better to take at home, your own preparation.
Serve the salad by forming it in a cooking ring. Place a culinary ring on the dish, fill it with salad and compress. Place the salad for 1 hour in the fridge for soaking. Remove the ring before serving, garnish with tangerine wedges, parsley sprigs and walnuts. Enjoy your meal!
